Definitons
Oscillogramme: an oscillogramme represents the wave form (sound pressure) of a signal
Spectrum: Shows intensities of frequency;combination of frequency and amplitude (no relation to time)
Spectogramme: a spectrum shows many spectrum slices. It measures time, frequency and the acoustic energy
Pitch track: shows fundamental frequency
Formant: Formants are the the result of different shapes of the vocal tract. They are energy peaks of an acoustic signal
Fundamental frequency: the lowest complex wave
